An Account ID instead of an inbox

Choose “Use no email” at signup and we never ask for an address. Instead you get an Account ID and a one-time recovery code in the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, shown on your account card right after signup — save it somewhere safe, because it is the only way back into your account. Log in any time with that Account ID and your password; if you lose the password, the recovery code resets it. No verification link, no inbox, no trail. The whole flow works even with JavaScript disabled, so it is safe to complete over Tor.
