Hello, here I'm going to show you how to create a Backup Manually through Wordpress DashBoard

  1. Inside the Wordpress Dashboard, click on "More"
  2. Then go to "Manage Backups"
  3. Here we'll need to install the Backup
  4. Type your Domain inside the first box
  5. Then you'll choose which account you're using, if it is "SFTP" or "FTP"
  6. Here in the next boxes, you'll see the information inside of the Wordpress Dashboard
  7. Click on "More" and "Manage FTP", here you'll be able to copy the information requested
  8. After all boxes are filled, click on "Test Website Connection"
  9. In the next step, you need to choose which folders to backup your website
  10. With the file selected, click on "Select Root Directory"
  11. Then, you'll need to choose which files will be backed up
  12. Click on "Begin First Backup" and it's done, a backup will start

Now Let's add a Database for it

  1. Backup done, click on "Add Database Now"
  2. In the IP box, type the IP of your FTP Account
    You'll be able to copy the IP inside of the "Manage FTP" option inside of the Wordpress Dashboard
  3. Then click on "Test Connection"
  4. Here click twice on "Next"
  5. Now on this page, you'll enter the MySQL username and password

To know the MySQL username and password you'll need to connect your Wordpress to FileZilla

  1. Inside of FileZilla, download the "wp-config.php" file
  2. When done, open it with Notepad
  3. Inside here you'll be able to see the "MySQL" settings, here you can see the username and password

Back to the Database Steps

  1. When done, click on "Next Step"
  2. Select the Database you want and click on "Add Databases"
  3. Done, now you'll have a Backup and Database configured
