Hello, here I'm going to show you how to create a Backup Manually through Wordpress DashBoard
- Inside the Wordpress Dashboard, click on "More"
- Then go to "Manage Backups"
- Here we'll need to install the Backup
- Type your Domain inside the first box
- Then you'll choose which account you're using, if it is "SFTP" or "FTP"
- Here in the next boxes, you'll see the information inside of the Wordpress Dashboard
- Click on "More" and "Manage FTP", here you'll be able to copy the information requested
- After all boxes are filled, click on "Test Website Connection"
- In the next step, you need to choose which folders to backup your website
- With the file selected, click on "Select Root Directory"
- Then, you'll need to choose which files will be backed up
- Click on "Begin First Backup" and it's done, a backup will start
Now Let's add a Database for it
- Backup done, click on "Add Database Now"
- In the IP box, type the IP of your FTP Account
You'll be able to copy the IP inside of the "Manage FTP" option inside of the Wordpress Dashboard - Then click on "Test Connection"
- Here click twice on "Next"
- Now on this page, you'll enter the MySQL username and password
To know the MySQL username and password you'll need to connect your Wordpress to FileZilla
- Inside of FileZilla, download the "wp-config.php" file
- When done, open it with Notepad
- Inside here you'll be able to see the "MySQL" settings, here you can see the username and password
Back to the Database Steps
- When done, click on "Next Step"
- Select the Database you want and click on "Add Databases"
- Done, now you'll have a Backup and Database configured
